A working dispatch desk. Not an SEO mill.
FOMO Dispatch is a working dispatch desk for owner-operators and small fleets across the lower 48 and Canadian cross-border lanes. Established 2020. We book loads, run paperwork, and chase settlements — at a flat 5% per booked load on semi-trucks. No setup fees. No monthly fees. No weekly minimums. No contracts.
Who we are
FOMO was started by two former owner-operators who got tired of dispatchers who couldn't negotiate, didn't answer the phone after 5 PM, and skimmed accessorials. We built the desk we wanted to call when we were the ones holding the wheel.
Six years on the boards later, we still answer the phone at 4 AM. Each dispatcher carries 8 to 12 trucks, not 50. A real human picks up nights, weekends, and holidays. You get a named primary dispatcher and a backup line — not a ticket queue.
How we operate
- We are a dispatch service, not a broker.Loads are booked under the carrier's MC. We do not re-broker or double-broker freight, and we don't hold property broker authority.
- Brokers pay you (or your factor) directly. We invoice our 5% separately. We never touch carrier money, factoring logins, or banking info.
- The 5% is on linehaul only.We do not take a cut of fuel surcharge, detention, layover, TONU, or lumper reimbursements. That's all yours, every time.
- No forced dispatch. Every load is sent to the carrier with rate, lane, broker, and shipper notes beforewe confirm. You give the green light or it doesn't happen.
- Month-to-month. Cancel anytime, no penalty, no notice required. Most of our carriers stay 3+ years anyway.
- Unaltered rate confirmations. The broker rate-con goes straight to you. We don't edit it, photoshop it, or skim the spread.
Who we serve
Owner-operators with 1 truck, small fleets with 2 to 20, and mixed fleets pulling everything from dry van to RGN. Every trailer type:
- Dry van, reefer, flatbed, step deck, RGN, power only
- Hotshot (Class 3–5, gooseneck-and-pickup)
- Box truck (26' and under)
- Car hauler
We dispatch all 48 contiguous United States plus Canadian cross-border lanes (US-CA and CA-US). Brand-new MCs welcome — no surcharge, no extra fee for new authority.
Bad-dispatcher moves you'll never see from us
We started the desk because we'd been on the receiving end of every one of these. None of them happen here:
- Asking for your factoring login or banking info
- Editing or marking up the broker rate confirmation before forwarding it
- Pushing you to run out of hours or take an unsafe load
- Booking a load without your green light
- Taking a referral kickback from a factoring company for steering you
- Charging a setup fee, monthly fee, or weekly minimum
- Locking you into a multi-month contract or non-solicit clause
- Skimming accessorials (detention, layover, TONU, lumpers)
